No. The stockrobot engine has been in development for 3 years, and has its foundations in evolution + simple programs - not generative AI. We may add GPT based rules into the evolutionary mix as we grow. 

Starting out small and focused, the first 500 bots have been trading for about 18 months, limited to the SP500. We have an additional 100 bots trading the SPY index, as the first experiment in compound bot signals. 

That's up to you! SR bot signals are not a substitute for doing your own research. I personally have a portfolio I've dedicated to trading based purely on SR bot signals, but this is a long-running experiment. It would surprise me if we've already uncovered computational combinations with enduring alpha (the computational universe is effectively infinite), but it's not impossible. 

There are many genetic algorithm platforms (GA) for finance - all of them are based on backtesting strategies to find one or a few strategies to use in the future. 

There are a few important differences between SR and "standard" GA approach to creating trading strategies. 

1. The SR ecosystem is fundamentally based on future-testing - algorithms are never backtested, therefore are cannot be overfit.

2. SR evolves over time - it is not an isolated fitting process. Future market shocks will kill off today's winning strategies.

3. The "depth" of SR bots is not limited. Built on a foundation of simple programs that can be combined arbitrarily - any SR bot can use any other SR bot as a trading indicator. Over time the complexity of SR strategies is arbitrary, not limited to a fixed set of indicators. 

4. The SR indicators themselves are built using proprietary techniques. All indicators are made to be scale invariant, meaning they can be shared between symbols, and are being evolved at the lowest level possible. Even how the lowest level averages that go into calculating an indicator are evolved (are averages weighted in time or a flat? What are the weighting parameters?). It's safe to say that the large majority of indicators underpinning SR bots  are not available on any other platform. 

5. You don't need to understand anything about technical analysis to leverage SR signals. The point of SR is to be agnostic about what trading signals to use, how they are calculated, etc., allowing the engine to produce strategies and SR members to use those strategies as they see fit.

We are not a flashy startup aspiring for a massive capital raise and hyper-growth. Stockrobot.ai is a passion project, and everyone working on it has a day job. In order to add features / bots we need members - our first members will prove that the project has value and allow us to continue development at a slow and steady pace. 

In the longer-term I aspire to make stockrobot.ai a game - where users take control of the creation and evolution of SR's, can trade SR's between owners and charge a fee for other users to subscribe to their SR symbols - democratizing the technology and decentralizing the decisions guiding the ecosystem evolution to all users.
